The Meat Man was formed in 2009 by Father and Son Phil and Tom Brown.
As the new venture was going from strength to strength Phil and Tom decided to refurbish the Willow Street premises, from that commitment to sell “Quality Meat at the Right Price” the business has now grown to sales in excess of 2 million per year and also achieving the following accreditation, STS Approval (which means they can serve Hospitals and Schools as they meet the highest standards required) HACCP approved premises (which means they have full documented procedure for trace ability throughout the food chain) UK Cutting Plant EC approval number 079 (which means they meet all the hygiene, trace ability of products, country of origin of meat and cleaning schedules, and testing of meats).
The Meat Man began serving restaurants and hotels before moving on to serving the general public through our stores, online and independently own supermarkets, all of which have the quality assurance from our 5 star food hygiene rated cutting plant.
